I am totally in love with all hues and shades of nude! You can never go wrong with it, as it makes every outfit look so much luxurious as if it was in another color. You can also go for fancier styles and materials and once it’s in a nude hue, it kinda puts it down. Also for me I like that I can play with make up so much more and rock a bond lip.
(I can’t really do this with a loud outfit cause I tend too look like a drag queen quite fast because of my popping facial features – it’s a blessing and a curse at once 😉 )
And I totally believe there is a nude tone for everyone, you should just try! I even have no problem with mixing different tones together, because it will still look quite put together as its one color family.
The only nude tone that’s an absolute no go with my skin tone is an orange brownish nude, hard to describe – but once you put the clothes on you will immediately know what suits you and what absolutely doesn’t. You can tell it by how it complicates your complexion and makes it look fresh and alive or wether it makes it fade.
Those pics were shot in Ladysmith, a tiny town on Vancouver Island (it’s like 2 hrs by fairy or 20 mins by plane away from Vancouver City) in British Colombia, Canada.
This magenta Rhododendron tree is over 150 years old and is one of he oldest trees in Canada and in the whole world. It basically used to be a secret spot that we heard about from locals, but with time it’s losing its secrecy more and more.
When we were there, like literally ever other minute tourists topped by. Chinese tourists in a taxi that they made photos outside of or many families or bigger groups looking for parking lots all around it and then asking us to take pictures of them with the tree.
So it was not easy to have an editorial shoot while so many people are waiting and watching but as we are some pros be pulled it off very easily and quickly 🙂 The owner of the house came out and he was like, yeah, that’s a normal scenario, people creeping around his frontward all the day but he just would never dare tu cut it off. True, it’s too unique and beautiful!
So enjoy :-*
