We did this shoot during the golden hour and I think you can tell! I wanted to keep the whole series in very warm and golden tones, as the sunlight starts to be very yellow 1,5-1 hr before sunset. The sand in Sri Lanka is not really very white, that’s why I decided to go for it and pair it with this beautiful golden high-waist bikini with aztec patterns.
The colorful boats that you can see in the background are actually real fishermen’s boats! They’re so bright and really compliment the whole atmosphere to make it more summery!
For the make-up, I used the Golden Glow palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills all over my face, eyes and even on top of her fluid matte lipstick in “stripped”. Hard to describe how glittery I was!
